Leveling Genies

Introduction

In order to get the most out of your Genie, you’ll need to level it up. Naturally, Genies require EXP to level up.

The amount of EXP required to level up a genie is a fraction of the EXP required for players to level up. There are two primary methods for providing Genies with EXP:

1. Infusing your own EXP/Spirit into the Genie.
2. EXP Cubes, which are primarily attained via quests or decomposing genies.

The level of the genie cannot exceed the level of the player using it and the maximum level a Genie can attain is currently 105.

How to level your genie

1). How to bring up the correct window to level your genie.

• • First click on the 'EXP infuse' option on the main screen (See diagram below)

• • After you will get another window will pop up (See below for what this screen looks like)

2). Methods of leveling your genie

• EXP Infuse
  • The first method is to infuse with your experience points, the screen naturally goes to this option when it is brought up (Below is picture showing this)
    • You then click on the 'Level up' box which gives the genie your experience points at the moment or enough to level it
    • Please be aware that unless your genie is the same level as yourself you will recieve a penalty for the amount of experience the genie will recieve
      • The penalty you will recieve is worked out by the following method (Example is also given as the screen shown):
        • • • • • • • • • • • • • Experience Given x (Genie level/Your level) = Genie experience gained
                                • 10,000 (Exp to give the genie) x (70 (Genie level shown) / 76 (My level))
                                • 10,000 x 0.921 = 9,210 exp given to the genie
      • (The penalty is shown on the experience infuse status screen as well, please be aware if the value of (Genie level/Your level) is less than 0.1 it will auto default to 0.10)

• EXP Cube infuse
  • The next option is to infuse with exp cubes, attained via quests or decomposing genies (See below for pictures of what the cube looks like and the EXP cube status screen looks like)
    • Drag the EXP cube into the box available (Like show in the experience status screen)
    • You then click on the 'Level up' box which gives the genie the EXP cube can give or enough to level it
    • Please be aware that unless your genie is the same level as yourself you will recieve a penalty for the amount of experience the genie will recieve
      • The penalty you will recieve is worked out by the following method (Example is also given as the screen shown):
        • • • • • • • • • • • • • Amount of Experience the Cube has x (Genie level/Exp cube level) = Genie exp gained
                                • 10,000 (EXP cube has) x (1 (Genie level shown) / 19 (My level))
                                • 10,000 (EXP cube has) x 0.052 (Will be classed as 0.1 due to value) = 1,000 exp given to the genie
      • (The penalty is shown on the experience infuse status screen as well, please be aware if the value of (Genie level/Your level) is less than 0.1 it will auto default to 0.10)

• Spirit infuse
  • The last option is to infuse with your spirit points (See below for the status screen looks like)
    • You then click on the 'Level up' box which gives the genie the spirit points to convert into genie experience that you can give or enough to level it
    • Please be aware that unless your genie is the same level as yourself you will recieve a penalty for the amount of experience the genie will recieve
      • The penalty you will recieve is worked out by the following method (Example is also given as the screen shown):
        • • • • • • • • • • • • • Amount of Spirit points x ((Genie level/Your level) x 5) = Genie exp gained
                                • 10,000 (EXP cube has) x (70 (Genie level shown) / 76 (My level)) x 5)
                                • 10,000 (EXP cube has) x 4.605 = 46,050 experience points given to the genie
      • Reason you gain 5x as many experience points for enfusing spirit points as you generally recieve 5x less spirit points as exp when killing mobs and quests
      • (The penalty is shown on the experience infuse status screen as well, please be aware if the value of (Genie level/Your level) is less than 0.5 it will auto default to 0.5)
